Hi everyone. Hope your new year has started very well and all looking good for 2013. Today I want to share with you my last wedding on 2012 with awesome couple Brona and Ben. Generally I provide Edinburgh wedding photography, but this time we went across to Kingdom of Five, to Balbirnie House Hotel. We were hoping to have nice white winter wedding, but in Scotland mother nature is a bit unpredictable. We had quiet rainy and cold day, so outdoors wedding photography was run run run and quick quick quick.
This was my first wedding at Balbirnie House hotel and hope to visit this venue a lot more as it has such a great setting and there are endless possibilities and what to do photography wise. Hotel and staff were just awesome. Wedding coordinator Kirsty was very helpful and accommodating every wish we had. Really looking forward to create more awesome wedding photography there.
Wedding went really well and we had fantastic ceremony with loads of fun moments. We had great speech time where boys were teasing Ben :) and we had fantastic evening part. Big thanks to families and all who where there for Brona and Ben, to organise wedding on very short notice most likely was not an easy task and everything was well thought trough.
Here little background on how they both met.
‘ We both met and fell in love in Edinburgh, which is one of the reasons we decided to get married in Edinburgh rather than our home towns. Ben had moved down from the Black Isle to go to Edinburgh university. After graduation he decided to stay in Edinburgh to find a job and moved into a rental apartment with some friends.
I am originally from Ireland. I moved to Edinburgh after graduating from Newcastle University. I was looking for a room to rent and the first flat i viewed and moved into was the flat that Ben and his friends were already living in. Myself and Ben became great friends instantly.
It wasn’t until one night, in one of Edinburgh’s most classier of nightspots ‘Poo NaNa’, that our friendship blossomed. Ben is convinced that the reason we got together was because of his, awesome dance moves! ‘
