Edinburgh Engagement Photos During Fringe Festival

Who decides to do an engagement photoshoot during Edinburgh’s busiest time of the year? Well…we did! Lauren and Glen’s engagement session just happened to fall during the Fringe Festival, the busiest time in Edinburgh. This meant we had to be flexible, quick on our feet, and ready with a backup plan. With over 14 years…

Engagements and Proposals at Craigmillar Castle – Edinburgh

Engagements and Proposals at Craigmillar Castle – Edinburgh

What do I think about Craigmillar Castle as your proposal and engagement photography location? I have photographed proposals and couples’ engagement sessions for over a decade now. Wow, that sounds like a long time, but that’s just how much I enjoy capturing couples’ personalities. Location is important, and I wouldn’t dedicate a whole blog post…

Where to propose quietly in Edinburgh

LOCATIONS WHERE TO PROPOSE QUIETLY IN EDINBURGH

After receiving many requests from those planning a quiet/less crowded surprise proposal in Edinburgh, I’ve decided to create an ongoing blog post featuring lesser-known and quieter proposal spots around the city. Awesome fun creating Balbirnie house hotel pre wedding photos.

Awesome fun creating Balbirnie house hotel pre wedding photos.

I think this set of images just sums up their experience with me. Here is few words they said about it.
” The pre-wedding shoot was brilliant fun.  It was great running around the grounds with you, watching you jump up on tables and climbing around in the bushes to get the best pictures.  We enjoyed it so much, we joined you and ended up one of the trees!  We really can’t wait for the wedding now.  It’s going to be great fun.”
I just asked them to do walk or whatever they want to do and then all these jumps started to come up. Awesome :)

Gemma and Andrew’s pre-wedding test session at Broxmouth

Gemma and Andrew’s pre-wedding test session at Broxmouth

Those who are looking for a little bit rustic wedding venue, Broxmouth Park estate is awesome place for this. I never knew about this venue until I came. It has so much character and great outdoors locations that I could be just walking round and round and find new places and ideas. It has a lake as well, but we didn’t manage to go there due the light was getting very low and by the time we left the park it was very dark. We hope on wedding day we will be able to go there.
There is so much energy between Andrew and Gemma, lots of smiles and very relaxed outgoing couple. Really looking forward to see how their beautiful wedding will turn out. can’t wait now.
