Scottish Hong Kong wedding photography at Dalhousie castle

Last Updated on 24/01/2024 by

Hello everyone. Today I would like to share beautiful wedding of Keith and Francesca. This was Scottish Hong Kong wedding photography at Dalhousie castle. Guys traveled all the way from Hong Kong and had very small and intimate wedding. Even for such a small wedding there was so much love around. Guys had a great fun and it was my honour to photograph their  special day. This year I’m photographing more weddings from abroad then actual Edinburgh based weddings. I have had couples from U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zeland and I LOVE it. Even if you are traveling in, there is no difference in how I create your wedding images. They still will be awesome and epic. I still will go out and think about your wedding images, do test images of locations. Most important is that you will LOVE your wedding images and 10 years down the line you will still love them.

I’m really happy how the result turned out and managed to create few portfolio pieces as well. I’m lately liking to photograph wide open shots. Those big epic shots. I hope you love them as well :)

I’m happy to present you Keith and Francesca

It was my pleasure to be part of beautiful Dunglass Estate Wedding with Lauren and Adam. My first time there and must say church did impress me. In spring time I went for a scouting and I wasn’t sure how this will look like on wedding day. Guys did absolutely gorgeous job and everything was very well taken care of. Beautiful decorations with flowers, vases and small details trickled around the venue. Thank you florist and wonderful staff at Dunglass. Hats off.

  • Dave and Julie’s wedding story at Broxmouth Park

This was my first season opening wedding. I was really looking forward to   Reiss wedding. Especially because they were planning to have outdoors ceremony. Up till last minute we still didn’t know if this will be indoors or outdoors wedding. Weather was a bit funny, but I trusted Metoffice predictions. Kept saying to Julie, ” don’t worry it will awesome weather from 2 pm onwards” and it was absolutely splendid weather. You could not ask for better day.
Once again Simon, the owner of the Broxmouth Park, took really great care of the big day and everything was brilliantly organised. Love how couples get very special treatment from him and everything is nicely personalised. I will say it again, one of my favourite boutique wedding venues in East Lothian.

  • Inchcolm Island wedding photography | Sally and Chris

Last week I had a chance to photograph beautiful and very emotional wedding. One of the big days parts was Inchcolm Island wedding photography and I always love to create stories there. It is always a bit tricky with time, but with a bit of running around, we still managed to create beautiful portraits for Sally and Chris. Our day started at the Hopetound House with bridal preparation, while boys took ferry to Inchcolm to prep everything there.

  • Archerfield House wedding photography | Gillian and Gary

This was my first time at the venue and I was really looking forward to explore my possibilities here. I love how they have access to the waterfront, have nice forest type of garden and the houses are awesome. Reminds me a lot Scandinavian style with a Scottish twist. The sizes of the getting ready houses for both boys and girls, are just enormous. Loads of space just to sneak away and have a quiet time away. Ballroom has great twinkle light ceiling and serves as great backdrop for those beautiful first dance shots.

  • The Byre at Inchyra Wedding photography | Sheonagh and Richard

It was my pleasure to document Mr and Mrs McPhee day at The Byre at Inchyra wedding. During our initial meetings these guys kept telling me how camera shy they are. Definitely not true, I simply could not get very serious faces from these guys. Both of them kept giggling and having a great time.
Day before wedding it was pretty stormy day and I started to get a bit nervous, but I shouldn’t. I think guys very praying pretty hard and they managed to set their ceremony outdoors. Crisp dry and sunny morning led everyone in pretty relaxed moods and day could start.

  • Mr and Mrs Swan wedding at Broxmouth Park

Wow! What an incredible day. The best day of our life’s. After a nervous night sleep we started early. While Danielle was dealing with essential hair makeup and bubbles. Iain and the boys were in the forrest with the clay pigeon shooting.
Our service was stunning, better than we ever imagined. It is happened under the fantastic Tree with Martha’s Vineyard chairs, Sunflowers and sunshine everywhere, while the string quartet played some sweet music.
The day raced on and we just couldn’t slow. it down. We had a walk through the forest,  down to the lake and later over to the glorious beach.
