Hello everyone. Today I have an awesome wedding story to share with you. I’m Edinburgh wedding photographer who covers wedding nationally and internationally. This year most of my weddings are for international couples who have picked Scotland as their wedding destination. I have very excited couples coming from Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada this year. I can’t wait to meet all of them.
This Wednesday and Thursday I had an honor to be a wedding story teller for Chuck and Jen and OMG how busy and beautiful two days we had. They came all the way from Canada to have a beautiful and romantic wedding. From the very start I knew that this day will be very different. Just by listening to outline on what they would like for their wedding photography and the venues they have picked, it all sounded like day full of fun and plenty of great opportunities to create gorgeous portraits for them. Wedding planning was trusted to Irene from I Do Wedding Planning and she did a great job for organizing everything. Everything was going as planned apart of weather and on both days we had an extremely windy weather and boat to the Inchcolm was almost cancelled. In the end we managed to get there, but on the way back I was planning for some upper deck wedding portraits but it turned out to be quite an adventure. I felt more like a fishermen when a salty sea water was splashing in my face and forgot to take photos all together :) Managed to get one photo up there :)
Their day started at a getting ready stage at Apex Waterloo Place Hotel followed by a very emotional ceremony on Inchcolm Island, then photo session at magnificent Hopetoun House and finished off with dinner at boutique Prestonfield House. Now you can imagine how busy it was :) Chuck and Jen did really well and posed away for me all day long. Here you will see only the first part of the wedding. I will be doing a separate post of our second day shoot as well. This should follow shortly.
I would like to congratulate couple again and enjoy looking trough these beautiful shots. Now it is even harder to choose images as I had so many opportunities to create portraits. Tried to cut back as much as possible and here are key moments of the day.
