Edinburgh city tour wedding photography | Mr and Mrs Towers

Graeme and Karolina got married back in Poland, but unfortunately weather was not at the best and they didn’t get any outdoors photos. They came back to Edinburgh and decided to have nice photos around town. First I met Graeme at one of my previous Edinburgh weddings and he asked me if I could create some images for them.
I really like idea of no stress walking around town shots. Give s time to stop, think and just enjoy easy. Guys sent me a list of locations they would like to be photographed and I went for little scouting and thinking. We had few old town locations and Crags.

Mark and Isla’s atmospheric wedding at Edinburgh Castle.

Mark and Isla’s atmospheric wedding at Edinburgh Castle.

Atmospheric Edinburgh Castle served as beautiful background for Isla and Mark’s wedding day. This was my first wedding at the Edinburgh Castle and I was specially excited to create some fantastic wedding photography artwork. Lots of planning and thinking went into this, but due to high winds at the castle we had to skip few of ideas :) Wedding photos still look amazing and I’m really happy to share these with you. Now I can definitely say that whatever weather is on Princess street , it is not up at the castle. The wind was sooo strong that ladies hats were flying off and Isla’s veil was always finding a way to be in front of her face.

Hopetoun House styled wedding photography for Luxury Scottish Wedding show

Today I will share with you beautiful styled wedding photography I did at the stunning Hopetoun House. Due to my newborn photography commitments not very often I get the chance to work with wedding suppliers. Would like to do it more often, but lack of time is major issue. Hope to work with more companies and gain more contacts. Luxury Scottish Wedding show will be held at the Edinburgh Balmoral Hotel on 19th of January.

It was absolutely fabulous day, much fun and great photography. The day started like usual with boys and girls getting ready.  Andrew climbed on the rooftop of his Defender :) Girls had a lot of giggles and Gemma’s mum maid awesome bridesmaids dresses. My jaw dropped when I was told that those are made by her. Honestly girls, if you are after nice dresses, speak to her :)

Glasgow University Chapel Wedding | Az and Lindsey

Glasgow University Chapel Wedding | Az and Lindsey

You most likely remember the pre wedding portrait session I did there with Az and Lindsey. Big day came so fast. It was fantastic and full of joy. It all started at their homes, followed by ceremony in beautiful Glasgow University Chapel and finished with dancing at Hilton Grosvenor. This was my first wedding at University Chapel and I was so looking forward to get photos around venue. Loved cloisters and surrounding areas. I couldn’t get all photos which I planned, but most of them we nailed it. Rest of them I will do next time :)

Scottish Hong Kong wedding photography at Dalhousie castle

Scottish Hong Kong wedding photography at Dalhousie castle

This was Scottish Hong Kong wedding photography at Dalhousie castle. Guys traveled all the way from Hong Kong and had very small and intimate wedding. Even for such a small wedding there was so much love around. Guys had a great fun and it was my honour to photograph their  special day. This year I’m photographing more weddings from abroad then actual Edinburgh based weddings. I have had couples from U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zeland and I LOVE it.

I had lots of ideas for their big day photography. Unfortunately weather turned against us and we decided to skip beach session. I would say this is even better as I will get to photograph them again during our after wedding photography session. I’m sure it will be awesome and beautiful. This time we pretty much spend all time under the roof and did lots of ideas within hotel. There were so many different possibilities to do and I was really excited to try out some new ideas. It might a bit quirky, but that is what I’m know for :) Taking couples to some not so glamourous locations :) Of course I do more beauty work as well, not everything is done in scrap places :)

Inchcolm Island wedding photography | Sally and Chris

Inchcolm Island wedding photography | Sally and Chris

Last week I had a chance to photograph beautiful and very emotional wedding. One of the big days parts was Inchcolm Island wedding photography and I always love to create stories there. It is always a bit tricky with time, but with a bit of running around, we still managed to create beautiful portraits for Sally and Chris. Our day started at the Hopetound House with bridal preparation, while boys took ferry to Inchcolm to prep everything there.

I had an honor to be a wedding story teller for Chuck and Jen and OMG how busy and beautiful two days we had. They came all the way from Canada to have a beautiful and romantic wedding. From the very start I knew that this day will be very different. Just by listening to outline on what they would like for their wedding photography and the venues they have picked, it all sounded like day full of fun and plenty of great opportunities to create gorgeous portraits for them.

Edinburgh wedding photography | Balbirnie house

Edinburgh wedding photography | Balbirnie house

Today I want to share with you my last wedding on 2012 with awesome couple Brona and Ben. Generally I provide Edinburgh wedding photography, but this time we went across to Kingdom of Five, to Balbirnie House Hotel. We were hoping to have nice white winter wedding, but in Scotland mother nature is a bit unpredictable. We had quiet rainy and cold day, so outdoors wedding photography was run run run and quick quick quick.

You can see their story here   There is such a huge potential for wedding photos that I could spend there days photographing couple :) A day before wedding there was a heavy rains and on the day it was a bit on and off rain, but we managed to cover most of my wishes and I’m really pleased for result. Few of ideas you have seen before, but not at this venue :)
